Welcome to Cerddoriaeth Celtica, a companion piece for the Starlight Radio Dreams series “Celtica”. When we conceived of Celtica the desire was to create an adventure serial which used music as part of the action and story. From using music to power Celtica’s magic tools to musical numbers for the big moments, Celtica does exactly that.
In this first episode of Cerddoriaeth Celtica, Karolyn Blake, co writer for Celtica and the actor behind the title character, sings and plays Dacw Nghariad. This is the song that we used to represent the magical shield which Celtica summons from her bracers.

When it comes time for a season finale, no one knows how to do it right like an 80’s cartoon.
